A long-time champion of proactive health care for women and worldwide, Curves is delighted to continue its world-wide commitment to the fight against breast cancer by becoming a sponsor of the Dove Star Walk 2008.

Curves has always been a strong advocate for breast health awareness by waiving Club joining fees with proof of a mammogram. But this year, Curves has partnered with entertainer Olivia Newton John to increase breast health awareness.

Olivia Newton John and Curves are on a mission to put ONE MILLION Olivia™ Aid Breast Self-Exam Kits into the hands of women around the world this October! During this October, Curves is giving away a FREE Olivia Aid Breast Exam Kit to any women who walks into a Curves Club for a fitness assessment.

The Olivia Aid Kit was inspired by Australian superstar Olivia Newton-John after her successful experience with breast self-exam 16 years ago-she found a cancerous lump and credits early detection with saving her life. Olivia Aid is a tool designed to help a woman maintain breast health by feeling more comfortable when performing your personal breast exam. Acting as a magnifying glass for your fingers, the Aid greatly enhances the ability to detect any abnormality which in many cases, can lead to early detection and a better chance of a cure for breast cancer.

Curves' fast, fun and effective 30-minute workout is embraced by women of all ages, in 60 countries around the globe. The program works to help women lose weight, gain muscle strength and aerobic capacity and raise metabolism. In just 30 minutes, women complete a circuit which provides total body strength training, cardiovascular workout and full stretching.
